Seldin Company is proud to announce the promotion of Jessica Szapacs to Vice President of Property Management.
With more than 15 years of experience in the property management industry, Jessica has been an invaluable asset since joining Seldin as a Senior Regional Portfolio Manager in May 2023. Her strong leadership, deep operational expertise, and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on our team and the communities we serve.
Jessica earned her CAM designation through the National Apartment Association Education Institute in 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Fort Hays State University. Throughout her career, she has successfully overseen a diverse portfolio of multifamily assets including conventional, value-add, student housing, HUD project-based, LIHTC, senior living, adaptive reuse, and historical properties—as well as retail and commercial office space.
A familiar face in the industry, Jessica served on the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of Nebraska from 2021 to 2023 and has contributed to both the education and membership committees.
Originally from near Manhattan, Kansas, Jessica brings Midwestern grit, a love of Braves baseball, and an impressive ability to juggle her professional and personal life. At home, she and her husband Mike are raising two children, two English Springer Spaniels, and five cats—plus an ever-growing list of DIY home projects she may or may not finish. When she’s not managing properties or pet hair, she enjoys traveling (preferably to beaches or ballparks) and teaching her youngest son the fine art of sarcasm.
