Seldin Company is a diversified full-service commercial real estate, multi-family management, and development organization. Founded by Ben I Seldin in 1923, the Seldin Firm began as a one-man insurance company in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Through the years, Seldin Company has built single family homes, developed subdivisions, apartments in Omaha, Nebraska, hotels, shopping centers and other commercial developments.

Today, Seldin Company headquarters are located in the Montclair Professional Building in Omaha, Nebraska and operates in the Midwest states of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. Currently, Seldin Company specializes in property management, commercial sales and leasing, and development with approximately 5,400 apartments in Omaha and over 1.5 million square feet of commercial retail and office space.

Our residential management portfolio includes approximately 5,400 residential units, from Lakeside Luxury to Lofts, Garden, Elderly, and Family apartment style units. Seldin Company has been active in the development and management of apartment properties from Muscatine, Iowa to Grand Island, Nebraska. Our portfolio also includes HUD affordable and Tax Credit communities.

Seldin Company is proud of all its contributions to help the Omaha community grow over the years but perhaps one of its greatest accomplishments is the development of the Westwood Community. The Westwood Community was a master-planned development which began in 1957 when the company acquired the area which eventually included Westwood Heights, Montclair, Montclair South and Royalwood and spanned nearly 1000 acres! Seldin Company also helped to develop the West Center Road business corridor between 114th and 136th Streets by creating retail and office centers, as well as single-family homes, apartments, schools, churches, the

Southwest YMCA, the Millard Public library, a fire station, and the Westwood Golf Course. The company was recognized by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce with a Golden Spike Award in 1991 and was cited for its extensive developments in West Omaha totaling more than $100 million at the time the award was made. Ted Seldin, Millard Seldin and Stanley Silverman were recognized for their vision in planning this mixed use community in Southwest Omaha over the decades.
